Aerosnap feature
Finally (sorry, ronniew). The window stacking to the edge feature, explained and simplified for Lubuntu prior to 13.04 (where it is, in fact, already implemented).
Not very sofisticated, keyboard driven only. The next version of Openbox will support this drag'n'drop features, so we could enjoy as XFWM or Metacity users do. Available at Tips'n'Tricks section.

Get extra apps for Lubuntu
You like Lubuntu, you waited for it, you downloaded and installed it. Now you have a beautiful and fast environment running on your computer. You possibly read the Tips'n'Tricks articles on this blog and customized the installed system to your needs and taste. But youve got a new repository with a few non-official apps:
And more to come. If you want to get these apps, just execute this on LXTerminal:
...and then execute "sudo apt-get install " followed by a space and the app name you want.
- compton, a very fresh git version of this composite manager
- lubuntu-tweaks, a simple tool to tweak some aspects of your desktop
- menulibre, and graphical editor for the application menu entries
- viewnior, a revamped image viewer with extra abilities (crop, resize, etc)
- xombrero, a very minimalistic and ultra-fast web browser
And more to come. If you want to get these apps, just execute this on LXTerminal:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:lubuntu-dev/non-official-apps
sudo apt-get update
...and then execute "sudo apt-get install " followed by a space and the app name you want.

Falles 2013
As we celebrated the Samhein or the New Year with a Lubuntized wallpaper, now it's time to make another one dedicated to my beloved fiesta, at the city of València in Spain, called Falles.
For those who don't know what's this about, just tell them it's an ancient cult to the fire itself, as a life renewal symbol and the joy of passing through seasons (from autumn into spring). And they do this burning paper-made monuments (ephemeral art) that represent bad things of the year.
I hope you enjoy this wallie and everybody is invited to come to València and see by themselves the festival on every street. Bones Falles!
